Eco Mark application
Eligibility
Your product must satisfy the following conditions:
- Meets the [Certification Criteria] for the applicable product category
- Currently sold (or planned for sale) or located (for services) in Japan

Licensing Process

Submission Documents
(1) 付属証明書（Japanese Only）
The "付属証明書" for each product category serves as a checklist to verify the compliance with each certification criteria and indicates the certificates to be submitted.
Please download from the [Japanese page] for each respective product category.
(2) Certificates
Check the certificates to be submitted in the "付属証明書". Please download each certificate from the [Japanese page] for each respective product category.
*If shown in the [English Certificates List], English versions are provided.
Please download it from the links in the English Certificates List. Certificates not in the English Certificates List are available in Japanese only.
In such cases, use the Japanese version or translate it yourself.
If submitting documents in languages other than Japanese or English, please ensure a Japanese translation is attached.
(3) Applicant Model/Item Number, JAN code List (Japanese Only)
(4) Photos, Catalog, etc. of the Application Product
Color photographs indicating the product's appearance for each model and item number.
Attachments such as catalogs are also acceptable.
(5) Planned Indication of the Eco Mark
Planned indication of the Eco Mark detailing the placement and content (logo with certification number and/or licensee name).
Free format, drafts permitted.

How to Submit the Documents
There are two ways of submission.
(1) E-application System (Japanese Only) *Recommended
If you are a first-time user, please create an account below.
After creating your account, please log-in to the e-application system and upload your application documents.

(2) Email
Send the documents to the contact below.
Please use a file transfer service or online storage if the attachment exceeds 25MB.

Fees
(1) Application Fee
Please transfer the fee to the following bank account. Your application will be put on hold until payment is confirmed.

* When making multiple applications, the payment can be made altogether.
* All bank charges must be paid by the applicant.
* The application fee is non-refundable.
(2) Annual License Fee
The annual license fee shall be paid each year as specified in the [fee provision] based on the total sales of your Eco Mark certified products.
